Help Us Plant the Roots That Change Everything
Roots International is just getting started, and the response from Spokane's refugee and immigrant youth community has already made one thing clear: the need is real, and it isn't waiting.
We have registered youth in our soccer program. A girls’ volleyball program growing through word-of-mouth alone. A youth choir ready to be reborn. And a community of young people who are showing up every week because they have found something here they couldn't find anywhere else: a place where they belong.
Now we need your help to build the foundation that keeps it going.
OUR GOAL
$10,000 by September 1st
Every dollar goes directly toward sustaining and expanding programming for refugee and immigrant youth in Spokane and Eastern Washington.
Campaign closes September 1st. Every gift moves us forward.
Summer Is When the Work Happens
For refugee and immigrant youth, summer is not a break; it is often the most vulnerable stretch of the year. Without the structure of school, many young people lose access to the routines, relationships, and resources that keep them connected and growing.
Our summer programming is designed to fill that gap. Soccer practices, camp sessions, mentorship circles, and arts workshops are the experiences that build confidence, belonging, and momentum heading into the next school year.
But summer programming costs money, and we are asking our community to help us make it happen.
Reaching $10,000 by September 1st means we can sustain what we have already built, serve every youth who is currently showing up, and lay the financial foundation for everything that comes next.
